Joe Goodman, son of Frank and Shari Goodman of Salt Lake City, recently received an award for a perfect disciplinary record at the Missouri Military Academy.

The Maroon Bar was awarded to Goodman for the month of February. The academy is a college-preparatory school for fourth- through 12th-grade boys located in Mexico, Mo. In 1990 the institution earned the rating of "Honor School With Distinction" from the United States Army for the 19th time in 20 years.- W. Robert White, chairman and CEO of the Ogden-based W.R. White Co., has been elected to a three-year term as an advisor to the National Trust for Historic Preservation.

This congressionally chartered organization is the only national institution that encourages public participation in the preservation of historic sites and buildings significant in American history and culture. White will represent Utah's interests and concerns.
