Young Seok Park, a Korean climber, suffered a broken leg at the 21,325-foot level on the southwest face of Mount Everest, the world's tallest mountain, the Ministry of Tourism said Wednesday.

The agency said the accident occurred Sunday while the Korean was trying to scale 29,029-foot-tall Everest. Officials said the injured climber was being evacuated to the Nepalese capital from a base camp for medical attention.
