Wesley Gail Sadler, dear and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle, age 66, passed away peacefully April 11, 1991 at his home. Devoted to the love and service of his family, despite his long illness.
Born June 17, 1924 in Magna, Utah to Charles Wesley and Lyle Thomas Sadler. He married Beth Hamblin, September 12, 1945; later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Member of the Magna-Garfield American Legion Drum and Bugle Corp. He attended Cyprus High School and the University of Utah where he was the Drum Major. A skilled carpenter. Retired from Kennecott Copper Corp. after 35 years. Genealogists, honored for his years as a volunteer with the LDS Genealogical Dept. A High Priest in the LDS Church. Served as a ward clerk in the Highland Park Ward. A needlepoint artist. Active in the Magna Senior Citizen Center, where he enjoyed the companionship of his sister and friends. Survived by his wife; children, Lloyd Wesley and Cindy Sadler; Larry Gail and Teresa Sadler, both ofSalt Lake City; grandchildren, Emily, Wesley, Natalie, Andrew and Anthony; sister, Mrs. Leland "Rhea Jean" Orton, Magna; many nieces and nephews and a large close extended family.
Funeral services will be held Monday, April 15, 1991 at 12 noon at the Holladay 11th Ward, 2065 East 4675 South; friends may call at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 West 2700 So., Magna on Sunday from 6-8 p.m. and Monday at the church from 11-11:45 a.m. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park, 4100 So. 4400 West.
