Denzel H. Bair, 64, loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, died Wednesday, April 10, 1991 at his home following a lingering illness.

He was born June 6, 1926, a son of Henry Ellis and Eva Nessen Bair in Garland. He married Ethelyn (Pat) Irene Wayner, July 12, 1948 in Pocatello, Idaho. She died September 29, 1975. He married Sheryl Buxton, August 18, 1978 in Tremonton. He lived in San Diego, California until the age of nine when he moved to Howell. He was a graduate of Bear River High School in 1944 and Oregon Technical Institute. He had lived in Tacoma, Washington, Klamath Falls, Oregon and in Garland since 1957. He was an Army veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict.He had worked at Thiokol as a machinist for 17 years and as planning engineer for 15 years, retiring in 1987. He was a gunsmith and owned and operated Den's Gun Shop in Garland. Mr. Bair and his wife enjoyed traveling to Mexico, where they spent the winters. He loved the out-of-doors. He was of the Christian faith.

Surviving are his wife, Garland; two sons and their spouses and one daughter, Den K. and Jane Bair, Portland, Oregon; John and Bonnie Bair, Summit Park; Kasandra Bair, Ogden; five grandsons, Jonathon, Chris, Rex, Riley and Rory; two brothers, Odel Bair, Seattle, Washington; Merle Bair, serving an LDS Mission in Mexico City; one sister, Mrs. Stan (Barbara) Strain, Tracy, California.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 13, 1991, 12 noon, at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 No. 100 East, Tremonton, with Bishop James K. Riley officiating. Friends may call Friday 6-8 p.m. and Saturday 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. at the Mortuary. Burial in the Garland City Cemetery. Military honors will be accorded by the VFW Honor Guard.
