Verla Ball Wadley, 74, died April 9, 1991 at her home.

She was born October 4, 1916 in Lehi to Clarence and Arminta Fotheringham Ball. She married Merlyn R. Wadley November 6, 1935 in Salt Lake City; marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Member of the LDS Church, living in the Pleasant Grove 2nd Ward. She served in the Primary and Young Women organizations. She had been employed at Smith's Drug in Pleasant Grove for several years.Survived by husband, Pleasant Grove; son and daughter, M. Richard Wadley, Long Beach, Calif.; Mrs. Hal (Deanna) Lewis, Fort Worth, Texas; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren; brother and three sisters, Jack Ball, Stockton, Calif.; Ida Gray, Lehi; Zoe Louder, Orem; Carol Johnson, Sandy.

Services Saturday, 11 a.m., Pleasant Grove 2nd Ward, 800 North 200 West. Friends may call Friday, 6-8 p.m. at Olpin Family Mortuary, 500 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove, or Saturday, at the church, one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery.
