Keith Bird Christensen, 68, died April 9, 1991, at his home in Richfield from cancer.

He was born June 6, 1922, in Richfield, Utah to Francis Carl and Manila Bird Christensen. He married Clara Ebert June 10, 1949, in Granite, Utah; solemnized January 16, 1963 in the Manti LDS Temple. He was a Veteran of World War II, having served in the army. He was involved in the Battle of the Bulge. He received his engineering degree from the U of U. He was a noted Richfield photographer of Native American Art. He was a longtime member of the Richfield Volunteer Fire Dept. He was a former Richfield City councilman, city manager and city engineer.He's survived by: His wife, Clara, Richfield; three daughters and one son, JoAnn Christensen, St. George; Kaye and husband John Niles, Delta; Sue and husband Dan Mecham, Kearns; Michael and wife, Joyce Christensen, South Jordan; 15 grandchildren; one brother and one sister, Randall J. Christensen and Barbara Christensen, both Richfield. Preceded in death by a daughter, Diane C. Collier.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 12, 1991, at 1 p.m., in the Richfield 4th LDS Ward Chapel, 159 No. 400 West. Friends may call at the Neal S. Magleby & Sons Mortuary Thursday evening, from 7-9 p.m., and on Friday, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial, with military rites by the VFW Sevier Post #5050, and the Richfield Unit of the Utah National Guard, in the Richfield City Cemetery.
