In remembrance of Edwin Lewis "Mac" McMillen, born in Naylor, Missouri, August 9, 1924. He died April 9, 1991, in Salt Lake City, of cancer.

He married Norine Kitty Smith, San Diego, California. Graduated from the University of Wyoming and spent many years in teaching and administrative education. He was employed by the Wyoming Department of Transportation. He later moved to Utah, and was employed, until his retirement, by the Utah Department of Transportation. He served over 40 years in the U.S. Army, both in active duty during World War II, and the National Guard in Wyoming and Utah.He is survived by Kitty and his children, Patrick A. McMillen, Boise, Idaho; Kathleen A. McMillen, West Valley City; Marcia and Montel Lindelien, Payson; Marilou and Philip Arriola, Monroe. He has four grandsons, Paul Lindelien, Adam Taft, Zachary and Joshua Arriola. His grandsons gave him much pride and pleasure; brother, Charles McMillen, California

In addition to his quick wit and sense of humor he will be remembered by his children for his love for books and the gift of desiring to learn through reading.

Funeral services will be held at the Utah Veterans Memorial Park Chapel at Camp Williams, 17111 South Camp Williams Road in Bluffdale, Saturday, April 13, 1991, 1 p.m., where friends may call one hour prior to services. Burial with full Military Honors accorded by the 140th Target Aquisition Unit, Utah Army National Guard, will immediately follow the chapel services.

A time for friends and family, old and young, to join in fellowship and remembrance, will be held at the Mnt.View Mobile Home Clubhouse, 2700 South 2700 West, West Valley City, 4-6 p.m. Saturday. In lieu of flowers family suggests the purchase and flying of an American Flag. Funeral services under the direction of the Springer-Turner Funeral Home, Richfield and Salina.
