Dr. Sherman McKinnon Morgan, age 75, died April 8, 1991 in a Murray Hospital of heart failure.

Born December 8, 1915 in Randolph, Utah to Fred R. and Jane McKinnon Morgan. Educated in Murray schools and the University of Utah and Rush Medical College, University of Chicago, class of 1940. Served as Flight Surgeon with the Flying Tigers Army Air Corp in China and Burma in World War II. Licensed to practice in Utah and California, practiced Internal Medicine in San Diego for 35 years. He enjoyed playing the organ, gardening and caring for his patients. Active in the LDS Church, served as the Stake Sunday School President in San Diego, California. Devoted to his sisters all of his life, Marge, Mary, Fay, and Beverly.Survived by his sisters, Fay Hansen, Murray; Beverly Jones, Fresno, Calif.; he was living with his sister Fay at the time of his death.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 12, 1991 at 11 a.m. at the Park Ward Chapel, 495 East 5600 So. Friends may call Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State, and Friday at the church one hour prior to service. Interment, Murray City Cemetery.
