A University of Utah medieval historian will deliver the 52nd annual Reynolds Lecture at the Art and Architecture Building, Wednesday, April 24.

Glenn W. Olsen will deliver the 8 p.m. lecture entitled "Deconstructing the University." The issue of "political correctness" and the banning of certain kinds of offensive expression on some campuses have brought out the underlying problems that Olsen will discuss in the lecture - enculturation and truth-seeking in a pluralistic society.Olsen, an editor of the "Catholic Historical Review," and has taught medieval history at the University of Wisconsin, Seattle University, Fordham University and the University of Notre Dame.
