April is Utah Immunization Action Month as declared by Gov. Norm Bangerter, with "Extinct? Not Childhood Diseases!" as its theme.
The campaign's goal is to raise immunization levels among preschool-age children, specifically against polio, measles, mumps, rubella, diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis.The Davis County Health Department is scheduling special immunization clinics from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 17, in the Clearfield and Bountiful facilities.
