LaMar J. (LeMar) Miner, age 70, of Springville, died Friday, April 5, 1991, at his home.

Born August 26, 1920 in Springville, to Floyd and Margaret Johnson Miner. He married Marjorie Child, September 30, 1940, in Springville. He was raised and attended schools in Springville and had been a lifelong resident. He was a member of the Jaycees, and served as local and state president. He was a charter member and held office in the Springville Rotary Club, owner and manager of LeMar's Cafe and Speedwash Laudrymat. He was active in local civic affairs and belonged to the Footprintrs Club. He enjoyed playing pool and was an avid outdoorsman.He is survived by his wife, Marjorie, Springville; two sons, Roger Miner, American Fork; Floyd Miner, Mapleton; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Harriet Miner Strong, Evelyn Miner Boyer; one brother, Dr. Richard K. Miner, all of Springville. He was preceded in death by a brother, Floyd Lee Miner.

Funeral Services Monday, April 8, 1991, 2 p.m., Wheeler Mortuary Chapel, 211 East 200 South, Springville. Friends may call Sunday evening 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery.
