Brrrrr! This is spring?A Denver woman bundles up against the cold and uses a storm-battered umbrella to help ward off wind and snow as she makes her way to work in downtown Denver Friday. The spring snowstorm dumped 7 inches of snow on the ground in the mile-high city and up to 20 inches of new snow in the mountains. Snow drifts were about 5 feet deep Friday near Lander, Wyo., and the highway over South Pass was closed by drifts. In Utah, 3 inches of snow fell on Alta, with an inch or less falling on much of the rest of the state. North-central Wyoming received about a foot of new snow.
