BYU's 12th-ranked women's tennis team picked up its fifth road win of the season with a 7-1 victory over 23rd-ranked Clemson Friday in South Carolina.
The victory is the first for the Cougars on this road trip after they lost two earlier in the week in Florida. Their overall record stands at 18-5 with a road mark of 5-5.Two three-hour plus marathons in singles, combined with the fact that rain forced the match indoors where there were fewer courts, caused the cancelation of No. 1 doubles and a change in the lineup at No. 3 doubles.
