Private rights of users of the federal domain will be addressed by noted speakers from several Western states at a lands conference in Bicknell Saturday, April 6.
The event will begin at 9 a.m. and conclude at 3 p.m. at the Wayne Middle School. It is sponsored by the Wayne County and Escalante chapters of the Western Association of Landowners. Registration will be from 8 to 9 a.m., and the fee will include a luncheon.The group of speakers will be headed by Wayne Hage, president of the conference organization and a rancher living in Tonopah, Nev.
Also on the speaking agenda are Karen Budd, attorney, Cheyenne, Wyo.; Bob Schweigert, owner of Intermountain Range Consultants in Winnemucca, Nev.;' Dick Manning, member of the board of directors for the Coalition of County Governments in Arizona and New Mexico; Cliff Gardner, rancher, Ruby Valley, Nev.; and Bill Howell, executive director of the Southeastern Utah Association of Governments.
