The Brigham Young University Chorale and Children's Chorus will present a joint concert Tuesday, April 16, at 7:30 p.m in the de Jong Concert Hall, Harris Fine Arts Center. Admission is free.

The 450-member University Chorale will perform a program of "Music of the Soul," according to director Kevin Brower.The university's Children's Chorus, directed by Kathy Parker, will present music from around the world. It will include an arrangement of "Scotland, the Brave" that features a bagpipe solo. Other instruments will include violin, banjo, mouth harp and spoons, fiddle, harmonica and viola.

BYU vocal faculty member Lila Stuart will perform as soloist in "Standchen," op. 135 by Franz Schubert. BYU humanities faculty member Larry Shumway and music professor Jeffrey Shumway will be featured on guitar and piano respectively in the work "Get Along Little Dogies."
