Volunteers are being sought for the 2nd annual "Human Race" at the Davis Applied Technology Center in Kaysville.

The event, to be held Saturday, May 4, at 8:30 a.m., includes a 5-kilometer run, a 1-mile walk, a half-mile run for children under 15 and a 100-yard dash for children under 7. A craft fair, bake sale and flea market will also be held.The "Human Race" raises funds for Turning Point, a technology center program that assists low-income single parents and displaced homemakers.

Volunteers are needed to set up and take down tables and chairs, register participants, serve refreshments, direct parking and keep track of time along the race courses. Each volunteer will receive a race T-shirt.
