Masters' Galleries has expanded operations to begin selling franchises for a national network of galleries specializing in art and photographic decor for the home and office, said company president Brian H. Walker.
The company soon will have between 25 and 30 employees and move its expanded corperate headquarters from 2960 S. West Temple to Building A in the Cottonwood Mall, Walker said.Sales offices for the company already have been established in Austin, Texas, and Oklahoma City.
Walker said Masters' Galleries has obtained the marketing rights to an unusual production process that transfers photographic emulsion onto high grade artists' canvas to give the image, texture and feel of an oil painting. The images are then mounted on stretcher bars, like an oil painting, and framed.
He said this process makes it possible to reproduce any image with the finished product being any size up to 4 feet by 8 feet.
The company has a library of museum art and scenic photography available to the public.
Customers also may have their own photography or art reproduced on canvas.
