Gene Wilder says women should find out if their families have a history of ovarian cancer so they can more accurately diagnose the disease that killed his wife, comic Gilda Radner.

"Maybe there are some other Gildas floating around out there being misdiagnosed," the 55-year-old actor said in an interview from his home in Stamford, Conn. "Maybe this information can help them."Radner didn't know other women in her family had the cancer until she had it herself. Without knowing the family history, such a cancer is hard to diagnose. Radner, an original member of the cast of "Saturday Night Live," died in 1989.
