Many of Utah's children can't live at home because of problems such asabuse, neglect or abandonment. The state provides foster care for about 1,200 of these children each year.

The Junior League of Salt Lake City has formed a project called Share Your Heart and Home to increase awareness of the critical need for more foster families.Groups interested in scheduling a free presentation may call Danielle Dahlquist at 278-1843. For more information about becoming a foster parent, call the Human Services Department, 538-4100.
