Donald William Gibson, age 84, passed away April 4, 1991 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Born April 4, 1907 in Hyde Park, Utah to William Alfred and Nellie Ormond Gibson. He married Ursula Snapp on September 27, 1928 in the Logan LDS Temple. At the age of twelve he moved with his family to Rupert, Idaho where he attended school and farmed with his father. He lived in Colorado where he was employed by the D & RG Railroad for twenty years. He has lived in Salt Lake City for forty-five years where he was employed by HiLand Dairy prior to his retirement.He was a member of the LDS Church, having held various positions including ten years as a temple worker and ten years in the name-extraction program. Don was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, admired and respected by all who knew him.

Survived by his wife; and children, Wanda (and Jack) Jarvie; Carma Brown; Ronald W. (and Sophie) Gibson; and Donald W. (and Donna) Gibson; 17 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Edna Kump; Dale May; and Marco (and Denzel) Jensen. Preceded in death by a son-in-law; a grandson; a sister and a brother.

Funeral services Tuesday, April 9th, 12 noon, Monument Park 8th Ward, 1794 South Texas Street (2390 East). Friends may call at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, on Monday evening 6-8 p.m. and at the Ward on Tuesday, 11-11:45 a.m. Burial, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
