Norma Ray Madsen Allred, 67, died April 3, 1991 in Ferron.

Born April 1, 1924 in Cleveland to Charles Delbert and Mary Kate Marble Madsen. Married James Harold Allred February 18, 1942; he preceded her in death. Member of the LDS Church. She worked as a waitress in Carbon and Emery Counties for many years. She and her husband started AA in Emery County.Survivors include children, Ray Harolene "Butch" Thompson, Salt Lake City; Norma Lou Funk, Bunny Lea Taylor and Harold Jed Allred, all of Ferron; Mary DeAnne Wilberg, Castle Dale; stepchildren, Harold LaRoy "Perk" Allred, Ferron; James Don Allred, Salt Lake City; Roberta Loren Brennon, Montana; half brother, Max Schlegel, California; 27 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Friday April 5, 1991 at 1 p.m. in the Cleveland LDS Chapel. Friends may call Thursday, 7-8 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary in Castle Dale, and one hour prior to services at the church. Burial, Cleveland Cemetery.
