Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, Douglas Lindorff, 77, passed away April 2, 1991.
Born March 9, 1914 in Salt Lake City to Adolph and Ada Barnes Lindorff. Married Maxine Morris October 27, 1934; solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple in 1944. He served faithfully as an active member of the LDS Church; he was "the children's friend"; he spent his life lovingly serving others and will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.He is survived by his wife, Maxine, Salt Lake City; four daughters and their husbands, Gloria and Jerry Blackburn, Murray; Traci and Jed Dunford, South Jordan; Linda and Kent Stevens, Gilbert, Arizona; Ruthanne and John McLelland, Mesa, Arizona; 25 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a brother and two sisters, Raymond Lindorff, Virginia Rentfro, both of St.George; and JoAnn Carlisle, Provo. Preceded in death by a son and a grandson.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 6, 1991, at 1 p.m. in the Imperial 2nd Ward, 1590 East Atkin Avenue (2810 South). Friends may call Friday 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Larkin Sunset Lawn Mortuary, 2350 East 1300 South and Saturday 11:45 a.m. to12:45 p.m. at the ward. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens.
