Stats: Born April 23, 1904, in Spain. Attended various schools in Europe.Early years: A foundling, he never knew his parents. He was raised in various Europeon countries. He was a crewman on a Brazilian steamer when he arrived in the United States in 1920. He tried work as a portrait painter, then went into movie production in 1928. He made his acting debut in bits in silents and had a role in "Clothes Make the Woman." Among his movies: "The Bridge of San Luis Rey," "Trader Horn," "For Whom the Bell Tolls." He switched to Westerns in the 1940s and did his first Cisco Kid movie in 1946.

Famous for: From 1950 to 1956, he starred in 150 episodes of "The Cisco Kid" for TV with Leo Carrillo as his sidekick.

Later years: Renaldo made his last movie, "Zorro Rides Again," in 1959. He was inactive in movies the last years of his life. He died in 1980.
