Lena Francis Cobb, 78, of Brigham City, died Tuesday, April 2, 1991 in a Logan nursing home.
She was born January 3, 1913 in Brigham City, a daughter of Lemuel Dresden and Mathilda M. Pehrson Francis. She married Ross D. Cobb March 17, 1934 in Brigham City. He died December 17, 1962. She attended the Box Elder High School. She worked in various positions and retired from Pioneer Nursing Home after 16 devoted years.Lena was loved by all and affectionately known by all as "Grandma Cobb". She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she received much joy and happiness from her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She took special pride in having a neat yard.
Surviving are two sons and two daughters and their spouses, Gene and Janet Cobb, Henderson, Nevada; Tom and Mary Ann Lloyd, Logan; Steve and Bonnie Ivie, Heber City; and Ross C. Cobb; 12 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 5, at 2:00 p.m. in the Brigham 9th Ward Chapel, 236 East 1st South. Friends may call at the Olsen-Myers Mortuary, 205 So. 100 East, Thursday from 7 - 9 p.m. and Friday 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
