Luzernia Jackson Nickle Baker, age 88, died April 1, 1991 in Missoula, Montana.
She was born August 23, 1902 in Lyman, Utah to Jeremiah and Chloe Jane Morrell Jackson. She married Clayton Jackson Nickle in Roosevelt, Utah on July 23, 1927; he preceded her in death. On August 17, 1963, she married LeRoy Baker in Missoula, Montana; their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death. She was a longtime resident of Union, Utah and an active member of the LDS Church. Throughout her life, she has devoted years of time and effort in doing genealogy work.Survivors, daughters and sons, Mignon (Mrs. Clifford Johnson), Missoula, Montana; Fontella (Mrs. Ronald Pedersen), Idaho Falls, Idaho; Rosslin Jackson Nickle and his wife, Faye, Union; Jerry Clayton Nickle and his wife, Judy, Phoenix, Arizona; Bishop Monty Ernest Nickle and his wife, Karen, Cheney, Washington; 24 grandchildren and 39 great grandchildren; brother, Perry Jackson, Fremont, Wayne County, Utah. Preceded in death by one granddaughter; four brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 3, 1991, at 10 a.m. in the Midvalley 4th LDS Ward Chapel, 7800 South 1211 East. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday one hour prior to services. Interment, Fremont Cemetery, Fremont, Utah, later Wednesday afternoon. Funeral Directors, Goff Mortuary.
