William Wright Poole, 82, passed away Easter Sunday, March 31, 1991 in the Logan Regional Hospital.

He was born November 14, 1908 in Whitney, Idaho to George Morgan and Kittie Dunkley Poole. He married Georgia Hyde in the Logan LDS Temple, February 21, 1935. He was a self-employed farmer and cattleman and he loved horses. He worked as a fieldman for Del Monte for a number of years. He served as a Franklin County Commissioner for 10 years. He was a High Priest in the Whitney Ward. He and his wife served two missions to Australia, Adelaide-Australia Mission, 1975-1976 and the Sidney-Australia Mission, 1979-1981. Serving these missions fulfilled a life-long desire.Survived by his wife, Georgia and seven children, Virginia (Mrs. Larry Flippence), Preston, Idaho; Arlene and twin, Arlend and wife, Cleo, Rick and wife, Debbie, all Whitney, Idaho; Maxine (Mrs. Richard Knight) and William D. and wife, Maxine, Bountiful; Douglas M. and wife, Debbie, Salt Lake City; 25 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Franklin D. (Margaret) Richards, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Charles (Gloris) Goff, St. George; Mrs. Charles A. (Roma) Allen, Logan. Preceded in death by two brothers, George D. and Morris H. and two infant grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Thursday, April 4, 1991 in the Whitney Ward Chapel at 12 noon. Friends may call at Webb Funeral Home in Preston, Wednesday evening 6-8 p.m. and at the ward chapel on Thursday 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Burial: Whitney Cemetery.
