Cans collecting faster than they can be used? Food storage items sitting on a shelf?
Becky Low, extension home economist at the Salt Lake County office of USU Extension Services, is presenting a series of workshops on how to use food storage items.Tips on how to store, length of storage, cost and nutritiona value of stored items will be presented beginning Tuesday, April 9, at noon, at the Salt Lake County Government Center, 2001 S. State St., Room S1007-1008. Recipes for a variety of practical uses for storage items, including dry beans and peas, will be available.
