Keep an umbrella handy if you plan to attend Sunday sessions of the 161st Annual General Conference of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
But wet-weather gear probably won't be necessary for those who attend sessions Saturday in Salt Lake City. National Weather Service meteorologist William J. Alder said it will be mild and windy on Saturday, with temperatures in the mid-70s.A storm front will move into the Salt Lake, Ogden and Provo areas Saturday evening, bringing showers and thundershowers.
Showers will linger on Sunday, but steady precipitation isn't expected. And the temperature shouldn't be as cold as forecast earlier. No snow is anticipated for the valleys. Readings should be in the low to mid-50s, Alder said.
