At his apartment in Salt Lake City, LDS Church President Ezra Taft Benson views photos from past sessions of the church's general conference. The 91-year-old church leader has decades of memories to look back on, having been called to the Council of the Twelve on Oct. 7, 1943. As leader of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, President Benson will oversee this weekend's proceedings of the 161st Annual General Conference. General sessions are scheduled today at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., with the priesthood session at 6 p.m., all in the Tabernacle on Temple Square. KSL-TV, Channel 5, and KSL Radio (1160 AM) will broadcast live all general sessions, including those scheduled at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Sunday.
