Egyptian authorities are holding 109 people suspected of being terrorist agents for Iraq, the Interior Minister said in a report available Friday.

Interior Minister Abdel-Halim Moussa said authorities had detained 91 Egyptian expatriate workers and 18 foreigners, some of them Iraqis. Egypt, which stood with the U.S. coalition in the Persian Gulf war, has accused Iraq of planting terrorists to attack Egyptian embassies, President Hosni Mubarak and members of his Cabinet.
