A couple traveling to a hospital qualified for the extra-rider toll exemption the hard way when the pregnant woman's baby decided it was rush hour on the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge.

Dave and Chris Bradshaw stopped their car, and their daughter was born in the back seat Thursday morning. The Bradshaws were making the 25-minute trip from their home to Kaiser Hospital in San Francisco when Chris Bradshaw realized the baby wasn't going to wait.

The healthy 7-pound, 7-ounce girl was born around 6 a.m. as rush-hour traffic whizzed past.

The couple hasn't chosen a name, but friends have suggested Bridgette.
