In four heptathlon events at the Texas Relays Wednesday, BYU's Anu Kaljurand, Shu-Hwa Wang and Laura Zaugg each set personal bests to place in the top ten of 17 entrants.

Kaljurand, in second place behind Kym Carter of Oregon International, set a Texas Relays heptathlon record, BYU record and personal best time of 13.49 in the 100m hurdles. Her other marks were 5-5 3/4 in the high jump, 45-5 in the shot put and 25.09 in the 200 dash for another personal best.Kaljurand is the leading collegian in the meet with 3526 points. She trails Carter by 140 points.

Wang, the third-best collegian so far, came in sixth with 3339 points.

Zaugg struggled with back spasms but managed to place eighth with 3098 points.
