Jane Fonda's aerobics studio is not so healthy. In fact, it's closed.

The Beverly Hills studio, Jane Fonda's Workout, shut down Tuesday night because of the immense competition from rival Southern California health clubs, a spokeswoman said. The actress and exercise maven now will be free to concentrate on fitness books and videos.Fonda opened the workout studio in 1979, in part to raise money for the Campaign for Economic Reform, a liberal political group founded by Fonda and Tom Hayden, to whom she was married at the time.

Fonda later opened spas in Encino and San Francisco but they were closed years ago.
