Highway maintenance work will cause lane restrictions and traffic interference on several Utah roads this week, the Utah Department of Transportation said.
Crews will be working Aug. 28 at several locations on I-15 from 6 a.m. from 6 p.m. Crews will be paving and mixing seal coat at the 34th South railroad structure on I-15 northbound, at the I-15 northbound Third South and Second South structures, on Ninth West under 21st South, and on I-15 southbound at 21st South and 2250 South.The right lane of the I-15 collector road at 13th South will be closed for guardrail repairs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the ramp to I-80 may be closed for a short time while repairs are made at the I-15/I-80 interchange at Fourth South.
On Aug. 29, traffic delays are expected on northbound Seventh East from 45th to 33rd South while crews are rotomilling the roads to prepare for paving. On both Aug. 29 and Aug. 30, delays are expected on I-80 eastbound and westbound from Third West to Third East as slope protection work begins beneath three structures.
Crews will also be rotomilling North Temple westbound from the Jordan River to Redwood Road Aug. 30. Crews will also be working on Seventh East northbound from 45th South to 33rd South Aug. 30 and 31.
On Aug. 31, crews will be rotomilling U-248 from the junction of U-224 to Park City High School. They will also be paving North Temple eastbound and westbound from the Jordan River to west of Redwood Road.
Slope protection work on I-15 at 45th South and Germania Avenue will also be done Aug. 31.
Sept. 1 and 2, paving will be done on the road to Park City High School and slope protection work will be done on I-80 east and west at 56th West and 60th West.
