The 10th annual Pioneer Spring Days will be held Friday through Sunday, April 5-7, at Pioneer Trail State Park from noon to 5 p.m. daily.
The activity re-creates the arrival of spring in pioneer days, including crop preparation, spring cleaning, refilling straw ticks and cording wool for quilt batts. One historic home will be whitewashed during the event.Activities will take place in the park's Old Deseret Village of 11 reconstructed authentic buildings. The cost to visit Old Deseret is $1 for adults and 50 cents for children over age 6.
