Indictments on drug, firearms and assault counts have been issued by the federal grand jury in Salt Lake City.
Charges were issued against:- Toni Marie Kordich and John Brian Johnson, listed as residents of Santa Ana, Calif., charged with distributing cocaine and possessing cocaine with the intention of distributing it in Utah on Aug. 13.
- Robert Tapoof, charged with assaulting Jeremy Arkansas, resulting in serious bodily injury. The indictment says the assault happened Sept. 21, 1987, on the Uintah-Ouray Indian Reservation.
- Emilio Delgado Medina, Salt Lake City, accused of aiding in an attempted distribution of 99 grams of cocaine, on April 12; possessing the cocaine with the intention of distributing it; and two counts of using a firearm in a drug trafficking crime.
