Professor Jack McIntosh, an expert on sauropod dinosaurs, will discuss the history of sauropods and answer hypothetical questions at the Earth Science Museum Tuesday at 7 p.m.
The Earth Science Museum is located near the west side of Cougar Stadium in Provo.The public and university community are welcome. McIntosh will entertain questions such as "Did they stand on their hind legs?" and "Were they fast- or slow-moving?" at the lecture titled "Sauropod Dinosaurs." McIntosh will also speak on the various types of sauropods found worldwide and their characteristics.
McIntosh is a professor at Wesleyan University and a research associate at Carnegie Museum of Natural History in Pittsburgh. He also serves as a research affiliate at Peabody Museum at Yale University.
