Warm temperatures and sunny skies throughout the state brought countless Utahns outdoors to enjoy the pleasant weather during the weekend, when the temperature reached a high of 55 degrees Saturday and 66 Sunday at the Salt Lake International Airport. Sunday it was 76 in St. George and 70 in Zion National Park - while Blanding recorded 61; Brigham City, 54; Cedar City, 64; and Hanksville, 65. Scattered rain showers are forecast for late Monday afternoon and evening over western Utah and the mountains. The snow level is expected to drop to about 7,500 feet, the elevation of most ski resorts. Showers will linger through Tuesday, and it will be cooler in northern Utah. The weekend may be cooler with more showers.
