Armand Sylvester Walker, passed away March 28th, after suffering from a stroke at a daughter's home in Lake Arrowhead, California.

Born February 10, 1912 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Sylvester and Mary Glover Walker. Graduated from Union High School. Married Aimee Charmaine Bradbury, June 15, 1936. She preceded him in death in January, 1989. He later married Hope Osborne on June 23, 1990. Armand lived in the Salt Lake area for 75 years, living only a short time in L.A., California. Retired from the U.S. Post Office in May of 1978, after 20 years of service. Armand and Aimee served an LDS Mission in 1979 in the Burningham, England Mission. He then returned to serve as an usher at the LDS General Conference which he had done for several years prior to that. He was a member of the Olympus Male Choir and sang in many performances with them.He leaves behind his wife, two sons and three daughters, 13 grandchildren, 9 and 1/2 great-grandchildren, Armand S. Walker, Jr. and wife Jan, Lakewood, California; Chuck Walker and wife, Teresa of Clinton, Utah; Ann L. Austin and husband Bob, Twin Peaks, California; Robin Kreissler and husband, Robert, Salt Lake City, Utah.

Funeral services Wednesday, April 3rd, 11 a.m., at the First Ward, 760 East 700 South. Friends of the family may call at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Tuesday evening 6-8 pm. Interment will be at the Logan City Cemetery in Cache County.
