Melvin Leroy Dangerfield, age 85, passed away March 29, 1991 in a local nursing home.
Born July 4, 1905 in Salt Lake City, a son of John W. and Jessie L. Fulmer Dangerfield. He married Mary Mortensen, June 5, 1929 in Salt Lake City. She died June 27, 1985. He worked for Peerless Supply Co. for 15 years, Mountain States Supply Co. for 25 years, and retired in 1972. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Grant 5th Ward.He is survived by two grandchildren, Craig Hincks, West Jordan; Carla Hincks, and great-granddaughter, Jessica Hincks, of Logan, Utah. Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Richard and a daughter, Barbara Hincks.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 3, 1991, 1 p.m. at the MacKay Desert Mortuary, 36 East 700 South. Friends may call at the mortuary Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
