Arthur Bentley LeBaron, 75, died March 26, 1991, at his home of cancer.
He was born November 2, 1915, in Barnwell, Alberta, Canada. He married Florence MacDonald December, 20, 1942. They were sealed in the Cardston, Alberta Temple. They moved to Utah in 1962. Received a Masters degree from B.Y.U.He spent much of his life in L.D.S. Church service including 22 years as bishop or bishop's counselor. Active in community service. Recipient of the Silver Beaver award from the Boy Scouts of America for over 50 years of service to scouting. He was a carpenter, an accountant and later a teacher and counselor in Utah's secondary schools.
He is survived by his wife of Orem; one son, Neil B. LeBaron (wife, Ruth Ann), Salt Lake City; two daughters, Mrs. Winston (Genie) Lee and Mrs. James (Gail) Christensen, both of Orem; 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; one brother and five sisters. He was preceded in death by a sister and three brothers.
Funeral services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at the Lakeview 8th Ward L.D.S. Chapel, 155 West 1600 South in Orem. Friends may call Thursday 7-9 p.m. at the Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary, 495 South State, in Orem and Friday from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at the ward chapel. Interment at the Orem City Cemetery.
