Paul Martin Stratton, age 57, died March 24, 1991, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Born January 1, 1934, Murray, Utah to Martin David and Luella Pedersen Stratton. Married Roselyn Mann, June 10, 1953, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Paul graduated from Granite High School and Utah State University. Received his masters degree from Northeast Missouri University. Taught Industrial Education in Granite School District until his failing health caused an early retirement. Served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean conflict. Volunteered for many years with the Utah Society to Prevent Blindness. Past-president of Holladay Lions Club. Member of the LDS Church and a High Priest at the time of his death.He is survived by his wife; sons, Mark and his wife, Gwen; Scott; daughter, Sharlene and her husband, Kolby Harsh; special grandchildren, Jeramy, Joshua, Amber, Nicholas, Tyler, Larissa, Brant and Austin; brother, David; sisters, Zelda Bills and Betsey Meidlinger. Also special friends who have been so thoughtful during his long illness. Paul's kindness and special spirit will be missed by all who knew him.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 28th, 12 noon, at the Grant 7th Ward, 3487 South 1300 East. Friends may call at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Wednesday, 6-8 p.m. and at the Church one hour prior to services. Interment, Holladay Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Lions Foundation Park for the Handicapped, P.O. Box 17422, Holladay, Utah 84117.
