The Utah Transportation Commission has voted in favor of authorizing $450,000 in federal money for rehabilitating the Provo City Airport.

The airport also will receive $22,415 from the state to repave its secondary runway and install runway lights, said commission spokesman Kim Morris. Provo must match the state's contribution.The commission also approved allocating $275,000 in federal money and $13,200 from the state for repaving the Delta Airport and a request from Beaver County for $135,000 in federal money to upgrade the North Creek Road, which runs east from Beaver into North Creek Canyon. The county will add $15,000 to the project.
