Weber State's women's tennis team won their own Ogden Park Hotel/Wildcat Invitational Saturday by defeating Idaho State 8-1 to go undefeated in the round robin tournament. Idaho State took second place with wins over Montana State 6-3 (suspended yesterday because of darkness) and Northern Arizona 5-4, followed by Montana State at 1-2 and Northern Arizona at 0-3.

Weber State's Roxann Engle was unanimously voted the tournament's Most Valuable Player by the coaches. Engle, a senior from Claremont, Calif., won all three of her No. 2 singles matches and all three of her No. 1 doubles matches paired with Lani Hunsaker. Others nominated for MVP were Story Hurst of Idaho State, Kristan Olsen of Northern Arizona and Leanne Wilson of Montana State.
