Vice President Dan Quayle will add a new achievement to his resume on Monday. He will be the official starter of the annual White House Easter Egg roll - weather permitting.

In announcing Quayle's role, the White House cautioned on Friday that the annual egg roll may be canceled in the event of heavy rains, as have pelted Washington.Quayle was tapped after President Bush decided to leave town on Sunday for a fishing vacation in the Florida Keys. The festivities at the White House will include puppets, dancers, circus entertainers and, of course, the Easter Bunny.
