Sections of pipe at Seven Peaks Resort Water Park will soon be assembled into a new water slide that will take riders through a "theme" experience in a 90-second ride. Construction started this week on "The Lazer's Edge" and will be completed by the end of April. Paul Mix, water park general manager, said the ride will be open May 18, the park's opening day. The slide will cost about $200,000 to build. (See story on Page B3.)
