Motorola Inc. presented 18 pagers to the Ronald McDonald House during open house ceremonies Thursday.

"The pagers will enable our families to feel that they can leave their sick child and yet still be in constant contact, eliminating one more stress factor for them," said Karen Huber, manager of the Ronald McDonald House at 935 E. South Temple.Gary Amundson, district manager of Motorola in Washington, and Doug Thompson, general manager of American Paging, were on hand to demonstrate the system. The pagers are being donated by Motorola to Ronald McDonald houses throughout the country. American Paging is donating the air time.
