The 3rd annual Great Salt Lake State Park Kite Festival is set to fly March 30 from noon to 4 p.m. at the Saltair Beach.
This year's event, sponsored by the park and Air Apparent-Kites, will feature displays of some of the latest and most popular kite designs. There is no admission fee.Picnic tables, restrooms, and drinking water will be available. "We're anticipating fair weather for the event, which means it will probably be windy," said park ranger John Ibach. "People will need to dress appropriately."
