Gourmet Cooking Light and Lean is the title of a Salt Lake Community Education program that will begin Wednesday, April 3, at 6:30 p.m. in the East Community School, 840 S. 1300 East.

The course fee is $35, with an additional charge of $50 for foods and supplies. The instructor will be Mary Ross-Andrus. The eight-week course will emphasize cooking without traditional fats, calories and cholesterol found in gourmet foods. For information, call 584-2901.
