A press operator fired a shotgun into the pressroom of the Bucks County Courier Times early Friday, wounding three people, police said.

Robert Rovinski, a pressman for 19 years, was arrested about six hours after the shooting, police said. Authorities said he is also a suspect in an earlier shooting in which a woman from nearby Bristol Township was wounded.Rovinski, 43, of Croyden, apparently left the pressroom and returned with a shotgun and began firing, a newspaper official said.

The shooting occurred around 3 a.m., interrupting the press run for the 65,000-circulation newspaper. The presses resumed printing around 7 a.m.

One press operator was hospitalized in guarded condition, and another was treated for a gunshot wound to the leg. A guard was also treated for a gunshot wound to the leg, authorities said.
